Thimble Alterations seeks independent alteration professionals to join its network and service bridal and formalwear clients. You will alter gowns, conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and manage timelines remotely.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precise measuring.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
