Job summary

Wellhub is hiring a Staff Platform Engineer for its Platform Engineering team. This remote Brazil role is open to candidates within Brazil, enabling a global, secure, scalable cloud platform built on Kubernetes in AWS.

You will automate infrastructure, enhance observability, and empower engineers to manage cloud resources autonomously. You will work with Kubernetes, Istio, Crossplane, and cloud-native tooling, writing code in Go, Ruby, or Python.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in AWS and Kubernetes is mandatory.
• Strong software engineering background with cloud-native focus.
• Certifications in CNCF Kubernetes are valued.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Kubernetes operators and cloud-native automation.
• Create tools enabling engineers to autonomously manage cloud resources.
• Develop a scalable, secure cloud platform on AWS using Kubernetes.
• Improve observability, reliability, and cost awareness.
• Contribute to standards, RFCs, and best practices.
