The role advances a durable developer platform narrative and ensures technical credibility while delivering human, authentic storytelling. The leader will shape briefs, guide production, and connect brand with product activation, adoption, and advocacy, using AI-enabled workflows to scale output while preserving craft and judgment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in brand marketing, communications, or related field.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and major programs from strategy through production.
• Deep understanding of developers and modern software teams, and AI in software development.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the brand and narrative strategy for developer-facing work across GitHub and the Microsoft developer platform.
• Translate strategy and market insights into clear creative direction and messaging systems.
• Lead priority programs from strategy through production, distribution, and performance review.
• Build and manage a scalable content production model and launch systems for major moments.
• Develop customer evidence, demos, and activation frameworks to demonstrate value and drive adoption.
