Job summary

Brain Injury Association of Colorado is seeking a compassionate Resource Navigator to support individuals with brain injuries and their caregivers across Colorado, focusing on the Western Slope. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, service delivery, and building connections to community resources.

You will manage a steady caseload, conduct home visits, navigate benefits, coordinate with partner agencies, and maintain accurate case notes in the GIRP framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience navigating human services, case management, or related settings.
• Knowledge of regional resources for brain injury, disability or human services.
• Experience teaching life skills such as organization, finances, and job skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered, trauma-informed care and resource facilitation.
• Serve clients across Colorado with a focus on the Western Slope, eight-client caseload.
• Refer clients to internal programs or community agencies to meet needs.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve resource challenges.
• Maintain client records and update case notes in the GIRP framework.
• Participate in outreach, training, and public awareness activities.
