Job summary

Staff Financial Group is seeking a reliable Bookkeeper to support ongoing financial operations in a 99.9% remote role, with occasional quarterly in-person meetings. You will handle full-cycle bookkeeping using Workamajig, reporting directly to the owner.

This solo position requires detail-oriented, independent work in a remote environment, with standard hours 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role offers a competitive salary plus benefits including 50% medical and dental, voluntary vision, 401(k) with 3%

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a standalone bookkeeping or accounting role.
• Experience with Workamajig or similar project-based accounting software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping including AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Manage financial data within Workamajig and ensure system accuracy
• Prepare routine financial reports and support budgeting processes
• Maintain organized and compliant financial records
• Collaborate directly with the owner on financial insights and reporting
