Job summary

Pearl Talent is seeking a reliable Bookkeeper to support remote clients from the US and EU. You will handle end-to-end bookkeeping, maintain ledgers, run reconciliations, manage AP/AR, and produce basic financial reports to help leadership make informed decisions.

The role emphasizes accuracy, ownership of data, and independent work in a fully remote setup, with opportunities to collaborate with global teams and gain growth through mentorship.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Full-cycle bookkeeping exposure (AP, AR, reconciliations, reporting).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience working with US-based businesses or financial standards.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions.
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of financial records.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain reconciliation schedules and supporting files.
• Process vendor bills and manage payment schedules.
• Maintain vendor records and AP aging.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and properly approved.
• Issue customer invoices and track collections.
• Apply payments accurately.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue balances.
• Support month-end close activities.
• Prepare basic financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
• Generate reports for internal review.
• Support payroll processing and recordkeeping.
• Organize documentation for tax preparation and compliance.
