Job summary

Our client, a growing B2B beverage importer, seeks a detail-driven Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage day-to-day recording, keep QuickBooks current, and deliver timely management reporting. The role emphasizes accuracy in purchasing, inventory, and compliance operations as the company grows.

You will own AP/AR, assist with month-end closes with CPAs, track purchase orders, and provide on-demand financial analyses for leadership.

Qualifications

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks — transaction entry, coding, and monthly account and bank reconciliations.
• Reconciling and solving A/P and A/R discrepancies.
• Build and run financial reports on demand (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, ad hoc analyses).
• Maintain AP/AR including invoicing, vendor payments, and follow-up on balances.
• Support month-end and year-end close with CPAs/tax preparers.
• Track and reconcile purchase orders and inventory-related transactions.
• Maintain audit-ready records and documentation.
• Use Excel for reporting and data analysis beyond QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Track purchase orders and inventory-related transactions with sales/compliance teams.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records.
• Utilize Excel for advanced reporting beyond QuickBooks.
