Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a P&C Liability Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our Claims Administration & Adjusting team. This full-time, remote position in Florida handles third-party General Liability, Auto Liability, E&O, and Law Enforcement claims involving bodily injury, personal injury or wrongdoing.

You will work from home with potential travel to client locations for meetings, CEU seminars, and scene inspections; and you will conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, interview

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Possession of Adjuster license.
• Maintain CEU credits for Adjuster license.
• Excellent knowledge of Tort Law, bad faith procedures and case law, and liability and medical terminology.
• Experience settling bodily injury claims.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties outlined in the Property Damage Adjuster role.
• Review workflow and claims system reminders within 72 hours.
• Review new claims assignments within 24 hours of assignment.
• Contact insured/claimant within 24 hours of assignment.
• Coordinate appraisers or obtain estimates as per client guidelines.
• Determine if estimates or appraisals are appropriate.
• Gather evidence of damages.
• Interview claimants, insureds and witnesses.
• Request payment authorization per guidelines.
• Follow client guidelines for denials.
