Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our Norfolk, VA area team. This is a full-time, home-based role that may require travel to client locations, CEU seminars, and scene investigations.

You will adjust third‑party General Liability, Auto Liability, E&O, and related Bodily Injury claims with professionalism, ensuring timely, accurate documentation and collaboration with insureds, witnesses, and defense counsel.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Possession of Adjuster license; maintain CEU credits.
• Excellent knowledge of Tort Law, bad faith procedures and case law.
• Experience settling bodily injury claims.
• Proactive, independent and able to follow through.

Responsibilities

• Adjust third party General Liability, Auto Liability, E&O and Law Enforcement claims involving bodily injury.
• Review workflow, follow up and close tasks within defined timeframes.
• Contact insured/claimant within 24 hours of assignment and gather evidence.
• Coordinate appraisals/estimates per client guidelines and approvals.
• Record communications and activity in the claims system with accuracy.
• Meet requirements for licensure CEU and maintain 95% claim closure ratio.
• Escalate to supervisor and client any Summons/Complaint; coordinate defense when needed.
