Qualifications

• 5+ years in BMS/BAS, controls engineering or related fields.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and specs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, submittals, and bid packages to define actual BMS/BAS scope.
• Issue RFIs to clarify the SOW during bidding.
• Develop equipment counts, material takeoffs, labor estimates, and pricing.
• Prepare customer proposals, scope docs, exclusions, and bid summaries.
• Identify constructability issues and commercial risks before award.
• Assess revised drawings for labor, materials, schedule impacts.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations.
• Support handoff, change orders, and scope evaluations.
• Evaluate BAS, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, DCIM, lighting controls integrations.
• Participate in customer meetings, site walks, and pre-bid reviews.
