Job summary

The Mantis Innovation team is seeking a BMS Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates and proposals for Building Management Systems (BMS) and related controls projects across commercial and data center environments. The role combines controls expertise with construction knowledge to deliver competitive bids.

You'll review drawings, prepare scope documents, coordinate with vendors, and support project handoff through change orders and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in BMS/BAS/controls environments and cost estimation.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and construction drawings.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings and bid packages to define BMS/BAS scope.
• Develop equipment counts, material takeoffs, and pricing summaries.
• Prepare customer-facing proposals and bid documents.
• Coordinate vendor quotations and change order pricing.
• Support project handoff and value engineering.
