Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Bio Process Application Scientist to provide technical training and application support for bioprocessing technologies. You will deliver expertise across mammalian cell culture, fermentation, and bioreactor operations, support sales with demonstrations, and create technical documentation.

The role requires advanced degrees in relevant sciences (MS/PhD) or equivalent experience, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel up to

Competenze

Master’s or PhD in Material Science, Life Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or Bachelor’s with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Hands-on expertise with Mammalian cell culture, microbial fermentation, or cell therapy manufacturing and upstream process development and bioreactor operations.
Experience with process automation and control systems, including DCS and PLC platforms.
Experience in Biopharmaceutical/Pharmaceutical/Bioprocessing environment is a plus.
Experience in applied data analytics methods: Multivariate Data Analysis, DOE, or PAT.
Experience in laboratories, Process Development and cGMP environments.
Customer-oriented mindset, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficient with Windows OS and MS Office; valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

Providing technical product training and support to customers and business partners.
Delivering application expertise and knowledge to customers and business partners.
Proactively supporting sales opportunities and visiting customers for demonstrations and consultations.
Training and supporting customers onsite, via email, phone, and web sessions.
Advising customers to optimize experiments and identify new applications.
Creating application notes and technical documentation.
Monitor trends in biologics, cell and gene therapy, fermentation, vaccines, and continuous bioprocessing.
Serve as bioprocessing technical authority for customers, partners, and internal teams.
Support product strategy and roadmap development.
Represent Yokogawa at industry conferences and forums.
