Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Spring House, PA is seeking an Upstream Process Development Scientist to scale cell culture processes for in vivo biologics and gene therapies. You will design and execute development studies across shake flasks, bioreactors, and high-throughput platforms, and optimize fed-batch and perfusion strategies.

The role requires hands-on bioreactor operation, proficiency with Ambr 250 systems, and strong data analytics using JMP, MiniTab or Python to drive process understanding

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or related field.
  • 2–4+ years’ experience in mammalian cell culture process development.
  • Hands-on bioreactor operation and scale-up experience.

Role

Upstream Process Development Scientist supporting scalable cell culture processes for in vivo biologics and gene therapies.
