Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. seeks a Biofuels Corporate Strategy Manager to lead defined workstreams and shape strategic direction for biofuels initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, analyze financials, and negotiate agreements with external partners to advance priority programs.

The role requires strong project leadership, research capabilities, and experience presenting to senior leadership. Remote in the United States or on-site at Arden Hills, MN is possible.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Physical or Social Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of business experience (e.g., management consulting, strategy, investing, product management, or other business roles in food, agriculture, or oil and gas).
• Ability to travel approximately 3–6 days per month, with some variation possible depending on business need.
• Proven experience leading projects from start to finish, driving work forward with team and partners.
• Experience digging beyond surface-level information, conducting primary/secondary research, analyzing complex data, and synthesizing insights.
• Skilled at defining obstacles and questions, testable hypotheses, solution options, and decision criteria.
• Experience explaining complex ideas and strategies to senior executive leadership.
• Foundational knowledge across strategy, sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance/accounting.
• Proven track record of outstanding performance on high-impact projects; project management experience valuable.
• Strong preference for strategy or consulting background; food/agri industry experience preferred.
• MBA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-2 biofuels workstreams, day to day
• Define workstream objectives and decision criteria
• Informally manage a working team providing input, analysis, and materials
• Provide regular updates to Senior Executive Leadership
• Represent workstream in internal and external discussions, including with executives
• Identify and mitigate dependencies and tradeoffs between workstreams
• Workstream examples include overall program strategy and negotiations with external parties
