Job summary

Land O'Lakes is seeking a Corporate Strategy Director to guide the long-term vision and growth from our Arden Hills, MN headquarters. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will align corporate objectives with market realities and lead cross-functional teams to design and execute strategic initiatives.

You will partner with Economic Research, define KPIs, evaluate new opportunities, and engage with investors and the Board to ensure disciplined execution and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• At least 10 years in corporate strategy/related roles or 5+ years in management consulting.
• Experience in a matrixed organization; demonstrated cross-functional leadership.
• Deep understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and competition.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of corporate strategic plans aligned with goals and trends.
• Partner with Economic Research to produce market analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments.
• Establish KPIs and monitor performance; report to executive leadership.
• Foster organizational alignment and cascade strategic objectives across units.
• Anticipate risks with scenario planning and contingency planning.
• Engage with investors, board members, and regulatory bodies in strategic discussions.
