Singer Equipment Company is seeking a talented Virtual Design and Construction Specialist to design restaurant spaces using VDC and BIM technologies. You will collaborate with clients and teams to deliver coordinated models and execution plans, ensuring on-time delivery across multiple projects.

The role emphasizes BIM coordination, project setup, and ongoing support, with remote work option and a focus on meeting tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree in Drafting or CADD; bachelor’s in design preferred.
• 5+ years in foodservice equipment design; mechanical systems experience preferred.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Singer Hub on Forma, set up folders and permissions.
• Create BIM Execution Plan for Singer H&R.
• Support VDC projects including BIM modeling and technical support.
• Attend VDC/BIM kickoff calls to set expectations and timelines.
• Analyze BIM Execution Plan and set projects up accordingly.
• Participate in BIM Coordination Meetings with Project Managers.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks or Revizto when required.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve coordination issues.
• Stay up to date on Autodesk Forma and other BIM platforms.
