Job summary
GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) / Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Designer to support Revit BIM and AutoCAD drafting for diverse clients, with option for remote or hybrid work depending on location.
You will lead design drafting and BIM activities within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates have extensive experience with Revit, model setup, standards development, and coordination across internal teams and external partners to
Qualifications
- Foundational design drafting capabilities.
- Experience with BIM workflows and Revit standards.
- Strong collaboration within project teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design drafting and BIM activities for Revit-based projects.
- Set up Revit models and workspaces for projects.
- Coordinate BIM workspaces with external entities.
- Develop and enforce Revit standards.
- Build Revit content libraries and families.
- Lead model clash detection and coordination processes.
- Perform AutoCAD drafting and design services.
- Translate site walkdown data into client MEP drawings.
- Check drawings/models for errors and clashes.
- Develop drawing sets for review, permitting, bids, or construction.
- Assist with internal drafting and BIM standardization.
