Job summary

TBC is seeking an experienced BIM Designer/Modeler to support a critical 3D modeling and coordination phase for a large industrial facility near Balstrop, Texas, just outside Austin. The role supports a hybrid remote setup but requires on-site presence for coordination.

You will develop and modify Revit MEP and AutoCAD models, coordinate electrical systems, perform clash detection, and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other BIM/MEP disciplines to resolve design issues.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Revit MEP experience.
• Electrical BIM/modeling experience.
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, or other complex facilities.
• Knowledge of cable tray, conduit, electrical equipment, and 3D MEP coordination.
• Navisworks experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven modeling environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify Revit MEP and AutoCAD models.
• Model and coordinate electrical systems, including cable tray, conduit, equipment, and power connections.
• Support detailed 3D coordination around major industrial equipment.
• Coordinate electrical work with mechanical, structural, and other MEP systems.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Revit and/Navisworks.
• Update models based on design changes and field conditions.
• Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other BIM/MEP disciplines.
