Job summary

Salas O'Brien is seeking a motivated BIM Specialist to support Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design teams with Revit-based workflows, model health, and content management.

You will develop BIM standards, coordinate models across disciplines, and contribute to Digital Delivery initiatives while advancing your expertise on projects such as data centers and commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of MEP building systems, documentation, and BIM workflows.
• Strong Autodesk Revit MEP skills, including project setup, worksharing, linked models, views/sheets, system modeling, and family/content management.
• Ability to develop and maintain coordinated MEP BIM models and construction documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot Revit model, family, visibility, and coordination issues for engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented approach.
• Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat PDF workflows.
• Experience working within Forma ACC and/or BIM 360 environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Revit MEP models and project documentation across phases.
• Support Mechanical and Electrical engineers with Revit workflows and documentation.
• Establish and maintain model standards including links, coordinates, worksharing, views, sheets, and health.
• Develop and organize MEP families, content, templates, shared parameters, and BIM standards.
• Coordinate MEP models with other disciplines and conduct clash reviews.
• Perform BIM quality control to ensure accuracy and deliverables.
• Support CAD-to-Revit workflows as required.
• Participate in BIM process improvements and training.
