Job summary

NV5 is seeking an experienced BIM Manager / Revit Specialist to lead client projects, set up templates, and guide teams through Revit workflows. You will work remotely for clients across the US and collaborate with a multidisciplinary Digital Design team.

Based anywhere in the United States, you will train client staff, develop templates and libraries, and implement best practices to ensure project success and consistency across engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Revit experience with AEC firms.
• Strong proficiency in architectural Revit workflows; MEP experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain templates, develop family libraries, and support Revit environments across active client accounts.
• Proficiency with ACC/Forma - setup, administration, and user enablement.
• Experience delivering training or technical guidance to peers or client teams.
• 2- or 4-year degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a BIM management team for client projects.
• Build and maintain client-specific Revit templates, family libraries, and BIM standards documentation.
• Conduct project kickoffs and advise client teams on Revit workflows, project setup, and best practices for their project types.
• Run regular project health checks - trace patterns and root causes, and recommend sustainable improvements.
• Deliver Revit training to client staff - one-on-one, small group, and structured sessions tailored to their skill level and workflows.
• Set up and administer ACC/Forma environments; collaborate with client IT on access and infrastructure.
• Maintain client knowledge bases, workflow guides, and BIM resources - keep them current and genuinely useful.
• Contribute to internal practice improvement - share what you learn, flag what could work better.
