Job summary

ENG (engbim.com) is a BIM company specializing in hands-on, field-focused BIM services. We are seeking a Job Captain to lead multidisciplinary modeling teams across complex architectural and engineering projects.

You will supervise and mentor modelers, drive QAQC and project standards, manage RFIs and RFCs, coordinate with stakeholders, and help shape modeling strategies while maintaining schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Excellent level of English, spoken and written
• Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction
• Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks; knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC, and model accuracy
• A mechanical or civil engineering bachelor's degree (architects could be considered if extensive MEP modeling/coordination experience)
• +5 years of experience using Revit and Navisworks for large-scale MEP projects
• Skilled in QAQC; ability to anticipate issues by leveraging team strengths/weaknesses
• Strong understanding of end-to-end project scope, kick-off/setup, requirements, standards, and related technical documentation
• Experience managing project budgets, with focus on cost control and alignment with project objectives
• Experience managing teams of modelers and dealing directly with clients
• Nice to have: Familiarity with U.S.-based construction projects.

• Manage RFIs and RFCs; conduct in-depth QAQC reviews.
• Influence modeling strategies and ensure seamless collaboration with stakeholders.

• Proactively address complex technical challenges and drive ownership.
