Job summary

MMR Group is seeking a BIM Coordinator in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves designing models, coordinating with trades, and preparing as-built documentation. You will read drawings, apply electrical codes, and support project management through RFIs and field coordination.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree or higher and has BIM/Modeling experience with REVIT and Excel, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities to ensure accurate, buildable designs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience as BIM Coordinator, Detailer, or Modeler.
• Proficient in MEP REVIT and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and codes.

Responsibilities

• Design models (coordination, shop drawings and as-builts).
• Assist system design, model content and coordinate with other trades.
• Prepare sketches showing wiring and equipment layout.
• Apply National Electrical Codes.
• Review drawings for conflicts and code compliance.
• Coordinate with project management and RFIs to resolve issues.
• Work with field teams to translate models into built environments.
