Job summary

Absorb Software seeks a Billing Systems Specialist to optimize Zuora Billing and the Salesforce–Zuora connection across pricing, invoicing, and renewals. You’ll partner with Finance and Sales to ensure accurate data, automate processes, and support revenue operations for a high-growth SaaS business.

You’ll drive data quality, monitor performance, and implement improvements that reduce manual effort while aligning with company goals and customer value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Zuora Billing experience with catalog management, pricing, subscriptions, invoicing, and payments.
• Understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, ideally with Zuora for Salesforce connector or CPQ.
• Strong grasp of SaaS subscription billing concepts (ARR, MRR, proration, amendments, co-terming).
• Familiarity with quote-to-cash processes and stakeholder handoffs between Sales, Finance, and Systems.
• Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Ability to communicate with both CFOs and Salesforce admins in one afternoon.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize Zuora Billing, including product catalog management, pricing, subscriptions, invoicing, and payments.
• Manage and troubleshoot the Salesforce–Zuora integration for accurate data flow in the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
• Improve billing operations through automation, process enhancements, and data quality initiatives.
• Partner with Finance to support billing accuracy, revenue recognition, forecasting, and month-end activities.
• Serve as the billing systems expert, resolving complex issues with Sales, CS, Support, and Finance teams.
• Analyze billing data, monitor system performance, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
