The role focuses on researching and resolving billing/shipment issues, identifying root causes, and driving solutions to improve accuracy and turnaround time. A BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Quick learner and able to navigate processes with minimal reference material.
• Comfortable asking questions and clarifying requirements.
• SAP experience (preferred/strong plus).

Responsibilities

• Research unmatched customer shipment transactions to identify the correct PO number and/or cost center details so transactions can be invoiced.
• Research and resolve exception lines.
• Identify and document customer-specific behaviors contributing to billing issues.
• Develop and recommend solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Participate in daily/weekly billing team meetings (metrics, open issues, priorities).
• Maintain strong internal controls while working collaboratively in a finance environment.
• Respond to non-standard requests from customers/vendors as needed.
• Stay organized, prioritize effectively, and contribute to a positive, productive team environment.
