Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of experience in billing, finance, or collections.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other billing software.

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and external customers to gather data for billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Address more complex issues and support junior staff with day-to-day questions.
• Process payments and maintain up-to-date billing records.
• Reprocess insurance denials and submit required documentation for payment.
• Maintain accurate billing records and files.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly billing reports for management review.
