AMSURG LLC is seeking a Remote Customer Services Representative (Billing) to act as the primary contact for patients and attorneys to resolve billing questions and issues. The role emphasizes understanding revenue cycle processes and adhering to policies while handling calls from diverse payors and clients.

The position supports a remote work setup with a focus on excellent communication, accuracy, and multitasking in a healthcare billing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1 year healthcare/call center experience preferred.
• Familiar with Customer Service policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of medical insurance terminology.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen actively and communicate revenue cycle outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from patients, attorneys, insurance companies, etc. to resolve problems and answer questions.
• Effectively listen and communicate revenue cycle outcomes or processes with caller.
• Understand payor and state rules and client information.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
