Job summary

Samsara is hiring a Contract and Billing Resolution Specialist to own complex billing and contract cases for Mid-Market and Commercial accounts. You will work across Billing Support, Order-to-Cash, Sales Ops, Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal to fix issues from the initial report to a confirmed resolution, keeping customers informed with clear, plain-language updates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in billing operations, order to cash, revenue operations, deal desk, contracts, or a similar finance and operations role.
• Strong investigative skills and ability to rebuild timelines from incomplete data across systems.
• Solid financial judgment when evaluating credits, concessions, reprocessing, and refunds.
• Clear, professional customer communications and concise written summaries for leaders.
• Track record of driving results across teams without direct authority and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own complex billing and contract cases for Mid-Market and Commercial accounts from report to fix, keeping customers informed.
• Reconstruct the full story behind billing errors across contracts, orders, ownership changes, and invoicing.
• Differentiate corrections of company errors from concessions, returns, reprocesses, and contract amendments.
• Coordinate with Billing Support, Order-to-Cash, Sales Ops, Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal to execute fixes.
• Evaluate and prepare concession requests, confirm fault, size the request, write a case summary, and route for approval.
• Support cancellation, return, and ETF exceptions, validate eligibility, and ensure approved outcomes are processed.
• Log every request in a single case record and coach teams on required information for complete requests.
• Identify root causes, tag them, and deliver monthly read-outs to owning teams.
• Carry forward billing improvement work with Support, Finance, and Product to detect issues earlier.
• Champion Samsara operating principles while scaling the organization.
