Job summary

Tia is seeking a Billing Care Coordinator to support members with complex or urgent billing questions, researching issues, and delivering clear, compassionate responses. You will collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management SMEs and billing teams to research, document, and resolve cases while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

This is a remote role supporting US-wide members. The role emphasizes patient-centered communication, attention to detail, and process improvement in a high-growth healthcare

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in billing support or revenue cycle
• Comfort handling live phone interactions and sensitive conversations
• Strong attention to detail and documentation habits
• Ability to research issues and manage cases through resolution
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work full-time weekday hours

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound member billing calls, escalations, and urgent requests
• Research and resolve billing concerns related to insurance denials, payments, balances
• Partner with Revenue Cycle Management SMEs and billing teams to resolve cases
• Document calls, cases, actions, and follow-up steps per HIPAA standards
• Follow escalation protocols to ensure cases are fully resolved
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to help members understand options
• Identify recurring issues and share insights to improve billing experiences
