Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist to deliver compassionate, end-to-end service to members, primarily older adults and individuals with disabilities, in a remote role across the contiguous US.

You will respond to inquiries about benefits, eligibility, services, and provider networks, document interactions in real time, and escalate with empathy to resolve issues on first contact while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high call quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in healthcare or similar fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Vietnamese/English required.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel; CRM and contact center tools.
• Clear, concise and warm verbal communication; accurate documentation.
• Typing speed at least 40 WPM; ability to multitask across systems.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience and respect when assisting seniors.
• HIPAA confidentiality and compliance must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Build caring connections with every member, listening with empathy and respect.
• Own each member interaction end-to-end, ensuring first-contact resolution.
• Respond to inquiries about benefits, eligibility, services, and policies clearly.
• Assist with provider network and claim/reimbursement inquiries and related questions.
• Document all interactions in real time for continuity of care.
• Support outbound outreach and member engagement initiatives.
