The Remote Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy services to patients via telehealth. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote improved functional abilities and independence.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assessments: Conduct evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning to determine needs and goals.
2. Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
3. Intervention: Provide remote occupational therapy, including exercises, activities, and interventions.
4. Education: Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to enhance independence and well-being.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
6. Compliance: Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA.
7. Technology: Utilize telehealth platforms effectively.
8. Continuing Education: Stay current with occupational therapy developments and participate in ongoing professional development.

Compensation

1099 Contract: Bilingual - $60 for 60-minute evaluations, $30 for 30-minute sessions. Non-Bilingual - $56 for evaluations, $28 for sessions. W2: $43-$56 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

*Licensure reimbursement after 90 days or 145 hours (~12 hours/week).

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active CA State Occupational Therapy License or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in clinical or school settings or successful clinical interview
• Technical proficiency with teletherapy platforms
• Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months+)
