Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is seeking a bilingual Physician to join our Virtual Health Assessment Team and deliver care to patients via phone and video. You will supervise Advanced Practice Providers and report to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

This remote, full-time position requires board certification in Internal or Family Medicine, MD/DO degree, and Spanish fluency. License in 2 Oscar States (TN and one of TX/FL) and 3+ years outpatient experience are needed.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fluency in Spanish determined by proctored assessment.
• 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
• Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States with TN mandatory and one of TX or FL.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state regulations.
• Provide medical care virtually (phone, video, messaging) per Oscar Medical Group guidelines.
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
