Job summary

Interstaff LLC is seeking a proficient Legal Assistant / Client Intake / Demand Writer to join our remote team. This role supports Employment & Personal Injury matters, handling client intake, document collection, drafting demands, and translating as needed.

Applicants should have prior USA firm experience, English at B2 or higher, strong organizational skills, and discretion. This is a full-time, remote position with opportunities for growth and requires reliable internet and alignment with US

Qualifications

Experience as demand writer or intake specialist for a USA law firm.
Familiar with USA legal terminology and document types.
Strong customer service with confidentiality.
Proficient in office software and legal databases.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial client intakes by phone or email for legal matters and input data into databases.
Draft demands from firm templates and update as case details change.
Provide excellent customer service and follow up for documents and signed retainers.
Manage documents, database updates, retainers, and letters declining representation.
Coordinate and schedule clients for legal appointments and appearances.
Provide interpretation and translate legal documents English-Spanish as requested.
