Job summary

American Reading Company is seeking a bilingual Executive Literacy Coach to lead ARC solution implementations across districts. You will apprentice teachers and leaders to improve literacy instruction and student outcomes, using ARC Core, 100 Book Challenge, and IRLA/ENIL.

This is a remote position based in the Washington State region of the US. The ideal candidate brings coaching experience, a commitment to growth, strong time management and communication skills, and the ability to travel about

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring and coaching others.
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth.
• Flexibility to adjust priorities.
• Proven efficacy in organizational and time management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Results-oriented with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to travel weekly (~60% of time).
• Spanish bilingual or multilingual.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional learning coach for district and school stakeholders using ARC solutions to meet goals.
• Apprentice educators and leaders to develop conscious competence in literacy instruction and data-informed decisions.
• Facilitate professional development, including workshops and coaching, in person and remotely.
• Collaborate to solve classroom and district challenges through research, testing, and scaling improvements.
• Address institutional practices affecting opportunity gaps with cultural responsiveness.
• Cultivate relationships to advance ARC’s mission of helping every student read and write at/above grade level.
