Job summary

Direct Travel is seeking a bilingual Corporate Travel Advisor to manage domestic and international travel for multiple accounts, ensuring policy compliance and cost-effective arrangements. The role supports travelers with first-level service and operates within established procedures, with potential in-office attendance for training.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, knowledge of airline ticketing rules, and proficiency with basic Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience providing domestic and international travel arrangements.
• Proficiency in one or more GDS is desirable; training will be provided.
• Thorough knowledge of airline ticketing rules and international ticketing.
• Ability to produce lowest logical airfare within client’s policy.
• Ability to read, understand and follow client travel policies and guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills via email and phone.

Responsibilities

• Complete domestic and international travel arrangements for clients.
• Supports multiple accounts.
• Operates within detailed procedures.
• Interacts with travelers and travel arrangers and provides first-level support for customer service and technical issues.
• Ensures compliance with client travel policies while using Direct Travel vendors.
• Adheres to Direct Travel standards for customer service, including phone and email etiquette and escalation procedures.
• Follows company standards regarding procedures, tools, productivity, accuracy, and attendance.
• Attend staff and training meetings; may require office presence when home-based.
• Maintains cooperative working relationships across the company.
