Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is hiring a remote Consumer Service representative based in New Mexico. You will handle 50-70 calls daily, assisting members with benefits, eligibility and claims, while guiding them to the best plan options.

Training is extensive (up to 7 weeks) and conducted virtually from home. You’ll work full-time, Monday to Friday, with shifts 9:30am to 6:00pm CST and potential overtime. Fluency in English and Dine’ is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Dine’.
• Experience with Windows PC applications.
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) with weekday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve inquiries on the first call regarding benefits, eligibility, claims, and accounts.
• Educate customers about health plan options to select the best plan for their needs.
• Contact care providers to schedule appointments or connect with internal specialists.
• Help customers navigate myuhc.com and UnitedHealth Group sites for self-service.
• Support Medicaid markets across multiple states.
• Research and resolve complex health-related issues across multiple databases.
