Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking a Remote ABA Intake Specialist to be the first contact for families seeking services. You will schedule appointments with providers and ensure schedules are full, while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role supports the Administrative Support team and focuses on delivering high-quality ABA therapy services to children with autism and their families. Professional communication and detail-oriented work are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to client communications including intake and onboarding of new patients.
• Establish and foster relationships with pediatric groups to create a pipeline of referrals.
• Schedule intake appointments and initial assessments.
• Review new referrals and book new intake appointments.
• Reschedule cancellations/no shows as needed.
• Add demographic and payor details to metadata.
• Relay benefit information to the client.
• Record all changes and communications to clients’ accounts.
