Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. The role focuses on turning data into knowledge via data modeling and BI tooling across reporting platforms.

You will work with Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SAS, and Power BI, leveraging SQL, Python or R, and participate in data validation, user testing, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of Analytics, Data Modeling, or BI experience preferred.
• Experience with Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or R is preferred.
• Understanding of data sources and database structures.
• Programming skills in SQL, R or Python.
• Excel or Google Sheets plus Tableau/Qlik/Power BI for data visuals.
• Adhere to compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Use Qlikview, QlikSense, SSMS, Oracle SQL Developer and other tools to build reporting data models.
• Develop scripts to import data from multiple sources.
• Identify inter-department dependencies and downstream impacts of changes.
• Suggest alternative data solutions when applicable.
• Communicate with users to develop BI applications, validate effectiveness, and conduct testing.
• Adapt to changing reporting needs and new BI tools in a fast-growing org.
• Maintain data validation to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver effective solutions.
• Foster relationships with business stakeholders and IT.
• Research and contribute to analytics process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline analytics workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.
