Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated Business Intelligence Developer to join our team in Austin. You will generate and maintain data and analytic solutions, turning data into knowledge by building data models within BI tools and maintaining existing applications.

You’ll work with tools like QlikView/QlikSense, SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer, and Tableau to create reporting solutions, validate data, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience, required.
• 1 year of experience in Analytics, Data Modeling, or Business Intelligence preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI, or other BI software is required.
• Knowledge with SQL, Python or R preferred.
• Knowledge of data sources and database structures.

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs.
• Develop reporting scripts that import data from various sources.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes within reporting applications.
• Communicate effectively with users to develop BI applications, validate effectiveness, and conduct user testing.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a high-growth organization.
• Ensure data integrity and reliability through ongoing validation.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver effective solutions.
• Initiate collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and IT.
