Job summary

Nymbus is seeking a Business Intelligence Architect to lead the data warehouse and reporting transformation for a major financial institution client. You will guide the migration from SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS to Snowflake and Sigma, while maintaining live reporting and data operations.

This hands-on, client-facing role emphasizes strong data modeling, ETL design, and clear documentation to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience for this role.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a traditional financial institution.
• Proficient in data modeling, statistics, and banking business concepts.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder-facing work.
• Experience with Snowflake and Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of the client's data warehouse from SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS to Snowflake and Sigma.
• Design target-state data models in Snowflake and translate existing schemas.
• Re-engineer SSIS ETL into Snowflake-native pipelines.
• Rebuild SSRS reports as Sigma workbooks with parity in logic and output.
• Document mappings and migration plans for reporting teams and stakeholders.
