Job summary

Propel Together is seeking a Data Engineer with Sigma experience to lead dashboard design and data modeling across cloud warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery. You will own client engagements from requirements through delivery and handover, migrate BI reports to Sigma, and optimize data models for scalable analytics.

The role requires 5+ years in BI/analytics, strong Sigma and Power BI skills, and hands-on SQL with cloud data warehouses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI, analytics or data consulting.
• Hands on experience building solutions in Sigma Computing.
• Strong Power BI experience, including DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
• Strong understanding of dimensional data modelling and reporting design principles.
• Proven experience leading requirements workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing consultancy experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build and delivery of dashboards, workbooks and reports in Sigma Computing.
• Own client engagements from requirements gathering through delivery and handover.
• Lead migrations of Power BI reports into Sigma.
• Design and optimise data models connected to cloud data warehouses.
• Write efficient SQL to prepare and transform data for reporting.
• Configure Sigma features including input tables, parameters and row level security.
• Maintain and enhance Power BI solutions including DAX and Power Query.
• Define governance, access control and best practices across BI environments.
• Mentor junior consultants and review their work.
• Deliver training, documentation and handover sessions.
• Resolve complex reporting and performance issues across client environments.
• Act as trusted advisor on BI strategy and platform adoption.
