Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics architecture, or enterprise data transformation.
• Proven experience with Snowflake and enterprise data integration/migration, preferably involving Salesforce and/or ServiceNow.
• Experience leading reporting/data transformation or legacy‑to‑new‑platform migration initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience building POCs and scalable technical frameworks that can be extended into larger transformation programs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; strong hands‑on experience with SQL, Snowflake, ETL/ELT and modern data engineering technologies required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership for the client’s reporting transformation from Salesforce to ServiceNow, with Snowflake supporting the future‑state data environment.
• Develop a target architecture, assess current data and reporting dependencies, and define the approach for the migration.
• Design and implement a POC using representative high‑value reports to validate the strategy.
• Establish a repeatable technical framework that can be scaled across the broader reporting landscape with minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Reporting Analysts, client SMEs, and Technical SMEs to communicate architecture decisions and trade‑offs.

Project : Reporting Transformation| Salesforce to ServiceNow & Snowflake

Location : Onshore - Remote

About the Role:

The Data Architect will provide hands‑on technical leadership for the client's reporting transformation from Salesforce to ServiceNow, with Snowflake supporting the future‑state data environment. The role will assess current data and reporting dependencies, define the target approach, and develop a POC using representative high‑value reports. The Architect will establish a repeatable technical framework that can subsequently be scaled across the broader reporting landscape while minimizing disruption to critical business processes.

• Strong Snowflake architecture and hands‑on data engineering experience, including data modelling, ELT, security, performance, and report‑ready data structures.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models and extraction/integration patterns, along with ServiceNow data and integration concepts.
• Expertise in SQL, ETL/ELT, APIs/CDC, data mapping, reconciliation, and migration patterns across enterprise platforms.
• Experience designing POCs, reference architectures, and repeatable migration frameworks for reporting/data transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of reporting‑oriented data architecture, data quality, lineage, dependencies, and business continuity during platform migrations.
• Hands‑on technical leader who can quickly understand a complex environment and establish a practical path forward.
• Strong client advisory and communication skills, able to explain architecture decisions and trade‑offs to technical and business stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving requirements while maintaining structure and momentum.
• Risk and business continuity focused, particularly for critical downstream reporting and billing processes.
• Strong collaborator who works effectively with the Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, client SMEs, and existing Technical SME.
