Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a BESS Engineer II responsible for the design, development, and implementation of battery energy storage systems (BESS). This role emphasizes engineering oversight to ensure solutions meet performance standards.

Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in BESS and power systems.

The position is fully remote, offering a competitive compensation range of $90,000.00 to $112,506.00 annually, along with benefits including medical and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience focusing on BESS, renewables, or power systems.
• Knowledge of design, integration, and optimization of battery energy storage systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems.
• Manage Engineers of Record and third-party engineering partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to design and procure BESS systems.
