Job summary
SOLV Energy is seeking a BESS Engineer II responsible for the design, development, and implementation of battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects. The role includes engineering oversight to ensure successful delivery of BESS solutions.
With a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, candidates should have a solid understanding of power systems and BESS equipment, along with at least 2 years of experience. The position offers the flexibility of fully remote work.
The compensation range is $90,000 to $112,506 annually, with additional benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k) enrollment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of electrical engineering experience with focus on BESS, renewables, or power systems.
- Knowledge of design, integration, and optimization of battery energy storage systems.
- Experience with power system analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Review the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems.
- Manage Engineers of Record and third-party engineering partners.
- Develop and review technical specifications and documentation for BESS.
