Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Case Manager to support a centralized bereavement program. This remote role guides employees on bereavement leave, applies policies accurately, and manages sensitive cases with a customer-service mindset aligned to global HR standards.

In this contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ, you will work across multiple channels, coordinate with internal HR partners, and maintain timely updates while handling workload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of human resources experience.
• Experience with HR processes and systems.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong communication to explain policy clearly.
• Excellent organizational skills for case handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic, real-time support on bereavement policy and time off.
• Guide employees through bereavement policies with clarity and care.
• Handle calls, chats, tickets, and cases via support queues.
• Assess each case and adjust the management plan as needed.
• Address sensitive situations prioritizing employee experience.
• Manage workload to meet productivity goals and cover gaps.
• Communicate updates to employees and stakeholders in writing and verbally.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulations, and policies.
• Maintain accurate records for all cases and interactions.
• Collaborate with HR teams to provide coordinated support.
