Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking an experienced Benefits Program Manager to shape and strengthen how our employee benefit programs operate across the organization. You’ll serve as a technical benefits expert, partnering with Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to keep health and retirement programs running smoothly, accurately, and compliantly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of employee benefits experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of health and welfare and retirement benefits administration.
• Experience managing benefit compliance programs and regulatory requirements.
• Experience overseeing benefit vendors, contracts, audits, and service performance.
• Strong understanding of HRIS systems, payroll integration, and benefits data feeds.
• Experience leading benefit implementations and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Governance, compliance, operational integrity, and administration of the organization’s employee benefit programs.
• Serve as a technical benefits expert and partner with Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, Finance, Legal, and vendors.
• Oversee vendor management, contracts, audits, and data quality.
• Lead benefit implementations, process improvements, and cross-functional projects.
• Ensure programs operate efficiently, compliantly, and accurately.
