Businessolver seeks a Processing Specialist I - Special Processing to provide advanced HR support with focus on benefit processing, compliance, and member services. You will handle complex cases, ensure HIPAA/IRS/CMS compliance, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in HR operations, HRIS proficiency, and strong communication, along with meticulous attention to confidential information. Remote work and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 2–3 years experience in HR operations or employee support.
• Strong knowledge of benefits processing and compliance.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication and collaboration while adhering to HIPAA, IRS, and CMS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and process appeals, condolences, QMCSO orders, Medicare L564 forms, and POA requests accurately.
• Verify eligibility, manage elections, record updates, and coverage activation per SOPs.
• Submit life and disability claims timely with complete information.
• Apply client-specific requirements across multiple workstreams.
• Provide proactive, empathetic member support.
• Communicate professionally with members, internal teams, and external partners.
• Maintain HIPAA, IRS, CMS compliance and manage mandated notices.
• Identify and resolve documentation or process issues with compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive data and maintain transaction integrity.
• Meet attendance and performance goals; take ownership through task resolution.
• Handle escalations, assist during client calls, and prepare reports.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and foster team collaboration.
