Job summary

GoMacro, LLC is seeking a Benefits and Payroll Specialist to administer benefits programs, payroll compliance, and leave management within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role supports a diverse workforce, including remote workers across multiple states, as part of a small HR team.

You will ensure ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA compliance, manage open enrollment, unemployment claims, and employment verifications, while partnering with Accounting to resolve discrepancies and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin or related field.
• 5+ years in benefits administration, payroll support, or HR operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer benefits programs and open enrollment.
• Manage payroll data accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee leave programs including FMLA and ADA.
• Handle unemployment claims and employment verifications.
• Ensure ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA compliance and reporting.
• Provide general HR support within a small HR team.
• Maintain HR records and support process improvements.
