Job summary

CAI is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to support the Payroll & Benefits team during Open Enrollment. This contract, remote position focuses on maintaining OE materials, answering routine benefits questions, and assisting with testing and wellness reporting.

You'll report to the Executive Director of Payroll & Benefits and collaborate with the Benefits Specialist to ensure accurate, timely communications and efficient enrollment cycles for a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Prior administrative or coordinator experience, preferably in HR or payroll.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks during peak periods.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
• Willingness to learn payroll regulations and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain Open Enrollment documents and communications.
• Coordinate information across HR, Payroll, carriers and stakeholders.
• Serve as first contact for routine employee benefits questions.
• Support Open Enrollment system testing and rate verifications.
• Assist with wellness program reporting and data collection.
• Provide general administrative support to Payroll & Benefits.
