Conduent is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to support Medicare and COB processes in a fully remote role. You will verify insurance coverage, determine payer order, and communicate with carriers and providers to ensure compliant and accurate claims processing.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years COB healthcare experience or 4+ years in related areas, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role offers a flexible weekday schedule and remote work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• 2+ years healthcare COB experience in provider, payer, or vendor settings.
• OR 4+ years in Insurance Verification, Medical Billing, Claims Processing, Auditing, Reimbursement, or Data Analysis.
• Working knowledge of COB guidelines; familiarity with CMS and NAIC COB rules.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and determine correct benefits for members with multiple plans.
• Review eligibility, coverage, and documentation to verify payer order.
• Contact carriers, CMS, employers, providers, and members via phone/email to validate coverage.
• Research complex eligibility issues and apply CMS/NAIC guidelines for primary/secondary coverage.
• Document findings accurately in company systems with complete records.
• Review EOBs and related docs to support payment determinations.
• Process COB correspondence and update eligibility records as needed.
• Handle inbound/outbound COB inquiries and meet productivity goals.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to regulations.
• Collaborate with teammates remotely and identify process improvements.
