Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Customer Care Representative on the Employee Benefits team. You will provide excellent service by answering questions about disability and leave management claims and help customers rebound and return to work as soon as possible.

The role includes 5 weeks of paid training and ongoing coaching to support your success. This full‑time position is 100% remote, with preferred proximity to Lake Mary, FL; Charlotte, NC; or Scottsdale, AZ offices for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service, call center, insurance, retail, or related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while navigating multiple programs.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Initiate claims according to best practices and provide exceptional service.
• Promote digital self-service capabilities.
• Document claim information using multiple computer applications.
• Maintain a dedicated workspace free from distractions during training and work hours.
• Commit to training schedule and take ownership to service callers' needs.
